Here's another installment of Down the TBR! Created by Lia from Lost in a Story, Down the TBR is as follows:

Most of you probably know this feeling, your Goodreads TBR pile keeps growing and growing and it seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. You keep adding, but you add more than you actually read. And then when you're scrolling through your list, you realize that you have no idea what half the books are about and why you added them. Well thats going to change!
 The Rules:

  • Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
  • Order on ascending date added.
  • Take the first 5 (or 10 (or even more!) if youre feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
  • Read the synopses of the books
  • Decide: keep it or should it go?

The next 5 books:

5. Outlander by Diana Gabaldon - I absolutely love the show, but I don't know if I'll ever read the books. There's just too many, and they're so big and intimidating. It kinda sounds like I'm making excuses not to read it, but I think my love for the show is making me not want to get too deep into the series. DELETE

4. One to Tell the Grandkids and Duplicity by Kristina M. Sanchez - I added this as a favor to my buddy Kristina, but I don't know when I'll read her original stories. I still haven't read her first books, while she's a fantastic TwiFanfic (Twilight fanfiction) writer, that sometimes doesn't translate well to original novels. (eg. Fifty Shades, Wallbanger). DELETE

3. Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout - I don't know a lot about this book, I know there's aliens in it and a forbidden romance. But other than that, I really don't know why I added this in? DELETE

2. Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas - God, I feel like I'm about to get a load of hate comments coming my way!! I haven't read ANY of SJM's beloved series because of the hype, anticipation, and the crazy-obsessed-passionate fandom that is the TOG fandom. The ACOTAR (A Court of Mist and Fury) fandom is even more over-saturated. With that being said, I do want to see what the hype is about, at least with this series, since it's less heavy to deal with. KEEP

1. Reignite by J.M. Darhower - This is the second installment in J.M.'s Extinguish duology, but I don't think I want to continue the series. I liked the first book, I don't want to spoil my memory of it by getting into the sequel. DELETE
