In Real Life (IRL)

Nothing really happened this month, personally. I've taken a break from writing and doing social media management for one of the blogs I write for. I just needed a break to figure out what I want to do on the platform. While on my break from this one website, I've had more time to do other things, like write more on this blog! I wish I could turn what I do into a real job, with income and everything, and I've been researching similar job positions in my area. Nothing has been settled yet, so I'd appreciate some positive thoughts and prayers.

I also changed my blog template! It looks the same, but I'm happier with the way it turned out. The color schemes, shades of purple, pink, white make it look more open and free to explore. I wrote a quick spotlight post about it HERE

Weekly Memes

Book Blogger Hop - Here are all of my BBH posts from this month. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end on Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop's purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

Top 5 Wednesday - I got a lot of love on my latest T5W post, Hidden Gems in YA Fantasy/Contemporary by authors Tonya Kuper and Akemi Dawn Bowman, which I was very happy to hear.

Forgettable Books

Top Ten Tuesday - Original host Jamie from Broke and Bookish brought it back for awhile one last time, before ending her blog as a whole and passing the torch to Lana from That Artsy Reader Girl to continue the series.

I Can't Believe I Read These Books!

Readathons and Reading Challenges

Bout of Books 21 - I did a few posts about my participation in this year's Bout of Books for the past six days. I set three easy goals, and ended up reading one book: The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. I also talked about my favorite booktubers, series, bloggers, and more. On days 5-6, I combined both days and participated in a few Twitter chats.

Day 4 Update
Day 5-6 Update

24 in 48 Readathon - This was my first time doing the 24 in 48 on January 27-28, where we do nothing but read in 24 hours within a 48-hour time period. So ,essentially reading for two days straight! I only read for one day straight (Saturday, January 27). I unfortunately had to work all morning on Sunday, then I came home and watched the Grammys... I'd wanted to find extra time to read, but by the time the Grammys ended, I was too tired and lazy to finish The Hate U Give lol. But I did finish ENIGMA by Tonya Kuper, which I was really happy about!

Tentative TBR List

Book Reviews and Blog Tours

HOSTAGE by Skye Warren and Annika Martin  - I engaged in this blog tour to promote this mystery thriller drama, hosted by Xpresso Book Tours. Surprisingly, I got a lot of love for this tour spot from my readers, so I'm pleased to see that my general tour spots get some shine.
